70 Ophiuchi

70 Ophiuchi is a binary star system 5.1 parsec (16.6 lightyears) from the Sun. The primary star, 70 Ophiuchi A, is a yellow-orange star fairly similar to the Sun, while its companion, 70 Ophiuchi B, is a slightly smaller orange star. The two stars are separated by an average distance of 23.2 AU, making the presence of habitable planets in the inner parts of the star system unlikely, but not impossible.

It is one of the star systems identified by the Parraxthryn Crystal.
